Linds and I have been the best of friends since high school, and I love her, and her beautiful family, with my whole heart. We get together whenever I am in New England, but, getting to spend the evening by the river together, capturing the love, was a whole new level of incredible. Watching our children be so close is a gift I will never take for granted.
I love my soul sisters fiercely, and am so honored they trust me to capture these moments in their lives.
The second I stepped foot on the riverbank, the tears arrived, as I sort of knew they would. This homecoming, the first time back at the Salmon River in years, was everything all at once.
Liane arrived with her heart broken, grieving the loss of her dear friend and beloved brother. And in many ways, my own heart was in pieces too. (Aren't all of ours, if we are being honest?) But together we waded, and laughed, and remembered that even in the middle of the strongest storms, there is still room for joy, and love, and grace.
Gratitude, even.

There are only a handful of people I would drive 5 days across the entire country for, and being there to witness Margit and Josh's big day was worth every single mile.

These have saved me gobs of time in editing that they paid for themselves in one editing session. The time Michelle has put into creating these is very evident and I can't tell you how happy I am that she's sharing them!
Seeing what these presets are doing out in the world is SO moving! These were created to empower others and to see that it's actually happening makes my heart throw confetti in the air. At first I was super nervous by the response. I worried (a lot) that I wouldn't be able to handle the task. But reading these emails, and seeing how these are really helping people, keeps me going. We are doing it! Eeeeek!
