July 11-14 2025
You don’t need to call yourself an artist. You just need to have a heart that’s open to wonder.
As a child, I grew up camping with my whole family. Just as the weather got warmer, we’d pile into the car, my skin sticky with bug spray, and drive to the woods. I knew we were almost there when the blur outside the car window shifted from the grey metallic tones of the city to the soothing greens of pine and maple. Our summers were filled with friendship bracelets, s’mores, and the very best sun-soaked memories.
Decades later, I camped all over the country in an Airstream with my young children and husband, and the echoes of those years are my favorite song. The giggles, the chipmunk chatter, the crickets serenading us to sleep. I knew then what has always been true, but I still sometimes forget. What really matters is so much simpler than we are made to believe.
I am SO EXCITED to share this huge piece of my heart with you this summer. Held in my wildflower-covered backyard in Smithville, Texas, this retreat is everything I dreamed summer camp could be: a cozy craft cabin table filled with pottery tools, trail mix, and piles of your creations waiting to be fired. Screen doors creaking, sun-warmed grass, and the gentle chorus of crickets at dusk.
We’ll sip cold lemonade on the porch, hike to the river, and let our hands stay messy with clay and glaze. The evenings bring campfires and s’mores, merit badges and memories echoing beneath the stars.
I created this retreat for those who want to press pause on the outside world and return to a feeling, not just of childhood, but of deep connection, slow joy, and being celebrated just as you are.
My biggest hope is that you leave this weekend with a sense of peace and JOY to carry with you long after the summer ends.
