1-on-1 Mentoring

Three spaces for 1-on-1 Mentoring just opened up in time for Spring. If you are ready to bring your creative life to the next level, I have a seat saved just for you.

// Before I met Michelle, I was living a life that was not fully my own. I was doing good work, being a good woman and mother, and being a good everything. But, I knew I was ready for more than good. I could feel from the depths of me that there was another piece of authenticity that I wanted and that the world around me needed.

I just didn’t have the tools or courage to get there.

Enter Michelle.

As a mentor, she will hold your unique and authentic self close to her heart and will not enable you to operate as anything less than that. She will be a step ahead of your journey and will know when you need a nurturing hand and when you need a tough mama bear.

She is not afraid to challenge you and to hold you to your power even on days when you are afraid or even when it feels easier to exist in your weakness.

She paid attention to the details of my life, from my behaviors, my beliefs, my surrounding environment, and my inner dialogue. And in doing so, she has helped me receive my freedom and has helped me enter in an awakened, productive, and inspired life.

She did all of this with me by holding me to the same standard she holds herself.

Michelle is the real deal.

Her service to your life is invaluable.

Birthday Breakfast

Their Great Grandma turned 89 this week. Braedon and Lily cooked a huge breakfast.

We listened to stories of a little girl walking to her first day of school in Canada in the 1920's.

And a twenty-something free-spirit wildchild who fell madly in love-at-first-sight while dancing, and sneaking cigarettes, at a backyard summer party.

And an 89 year old great grandmother who loves and misses her family so much it makes her heart ache in the middle of the night sometimes.

These moments. These ones right here.

Reawakening

"I was amazed to find that I had no idea how to unfold my spiritual life in a feminine way. I was surprised, and, in fact, a little terrified, when I found myself in the middle of a feminist spiritual reawakening." Sue Monk Kidd

There are so many of us reclaiming our Truths. One shutter, or paint stroke, or poetic stanza at a time.

We are creative women, wild women, women who can feel, actually feel, the fire inside, raging and glowing.

And we aren't slowing down (not this time). And we aren't shutting up (not anymore). And we are most certainly not alone (not at all).

I hold this dream, this intention, so strong: To shut down my computer, to turn off my phone, and to gather together in breathtaking forests and eat incredible foods and laugh around the campfire, and paint, and sculpt, and pick flowers , and replace the uncertainty with sisterhood, and replace the fear with friendship. I promise it's coming. So soon.

New Logo

I've been waiting for a new logo to come land on my shoulder for two years. Maybe more. Nothing felt 'right,' and I've never been one to force anything or compromise.

Then this morning, while snuggled on the couch with my little family, I had a vision of combining Lily's watercolor paintings with an object. I adore her paintings. Not just in a Mom way. Or maybe it is just in a Mom way, but either way, they have my heart.

So I flipped open my art journal and found a bunch of doodles of feathers.

And wouldn't you know, that little bird of Knowing came and softly sat right on my shoulder. Just like that.
