I've worked with Carrie-Anne for a while now, providing luminous imagery for her soul-soaked blog and business, Annapurna Living. I knew we were kindred spirits from the moment we first connected, and creating along her side has been an absolute dream.
This past weekend, she spent three nights camping with us in Connecticut. The plan was to photograph her in the river, but the Universe is never wrong and what happened instead was so much more. Her sweet daughter got an intense virus and what was supposed to be a weekend filled with river magic, turned into a weekend filled with snuggles, books, tea and meaningful, beautiful all-togetherness. Sometimes we stand in the water, and sometimes, with grace, we go with the flow.
I love these women. Our friendship is Home. And I am so grateful things didn't go as planned.
