I know the rule with these preludes is to only post an image with no words but when in the world have I ever followed the rules?
Truth be told, I got two hours of sleep the night before this wedding. Lily was up with a super high fever. She finally fell asleep at 5:00am and woke up again at 7:00am. Thanks to the one and only Thomas, we pulled it together and were out the door in no time at all. I hadn’t showered or eaten and my Mama heart was broken for my little peanut. As I drove away, I was completely out of sorts. And then I arrived and saw Amanda. I swear to you, this woman is an angel. I am not kidding. She works with the disabled community in Connecticut, she lives a green life, she is ultra creative and is no joke the kindest, most peaceful woman I have ever met. She radiates balance and Zen.
Sometimes life seems complicated and a bit messy, but when you are around Amanda and James it all makes sense again.
The love James and Amanda share is extraordinary. Incredible human beings like this, they are rare these days, and having the honor to capture them as they celebrate their forever promises makes me the luckiest girl ever.
